I never liked them until.... I suddenly got into them.
I do like the sound of Eddie's guitar. Its precise, hard, sometimes overwrought, but always electrifying.
I do understand what manny says. Its true that the lyrics are not that deep. I think you could replace the band name here an insert AC/DC and it would be the same. AC/DC makes the same record over and over. While they get you all hopped up, they really go no where artistically. You always get this opening riff, a hook with a hushed sounding chorus, leading up to an over-produced sounding heavy instrumental section. I do find that Van Halen has some of the same qualities but they're a bit deeper and more interesting.
