Gosh, I haven't heard that LP in years! I need to get a replacement copy of it, haven't had it since the late '80s when I lost my record collection.
As usual, I've been listening mainly to the radio for music, and whatever they play (the Doors are on right now)..... other than about 3 nights ago I played Bob Marley & the Wailers' classic LP Exodus. Talk about a masterpiece of an LP! About 3 weeks ago we were watching the Will Smith movie I Am Legend (the one set in a empty NYC, where almost everybody in the word is dead), and anyway, they play the song "Three Little Birds" (aka 'Don't worry bout a thing") from this LP early in the movie, as Smith's character in the flick is a big Marley fan, and later in the movie when he finally finds 2 other survivors, he talks about how this LP was the greatest album ever made. I won't say that, but it got me to thinking I hadn't play my CD of it in ages, and that's why I finally did play it a few days ago. Funny how a movie can influence you like that, or for that matter, a thread like this, too, as now I want to hear All Things Must Pass, except I don't have that one to play. But I bet it's on Youtube, so I'll have to check!
