Yet another giant exits the stage. Toussaint was one of the most influential musicians to come out of New Orleans, and his career spanned many decades going back to the Little Richard era. He also collaborated with Paul McCartney during the Wings era ("Venus and Mars", if not mistaken), and I recall his brilliant horn arrangements on The Band's live 2-LP "Rock of Ages".
