I voted that Mick and Brian contributed equally from '62 to '65 using the same logic -- Brian was a major driving force from '62 through '64 and then Mick came into his own beginning in '65, maturing as a writer and stage performer while the band's popularity took off. So based on that momentum I perceived them as being equal overall for the 4 years. '66 and '67 have a different dynamic yet, as Brian re-asserted himself as creative force and personality during those years. His multi-instrumental forays altered the sound of the band and the results were certainly right for the times. And Mick's creativity was still in high gear, while his versatility as a vocalist increased.
