we don't save a bit of energy at all with it either, it's been proven. All the lights we don't turn on for one extra hour at nite, we instead turn on in the morning when they won't be on otherwise.
It's not just that Keno. When the daylight lasts longer into the evening, people have a tendency to go out to eat, shop, take in a movie or whatever. And most will drive to where they want to go. Maybe it's good for the economy Ronnie, but it sure isn't doing much for the environment.
I'm of two minds regarding DST. On the one hand, I love the looooong days in the summer. But I'm someone who has to get up very early and I also like when it's not completely dark when I leave my house in the morning.
