For myself, I like the CD's. It IS easier on vinyl to drop the needle down on the songs you prefer to hear...but I prefer to hear ALL of Exile. Not having to "flip" the record was the greatest invention. The live albums flow better and hearing albums like Exile or TSMR straight through is priceless to me.
