Like you, it took me years before I gave this album a fair chance. As a teenager, I just didn't appreciate its mellow quality.
Like you, I lurked here for a long time before I summoned up enough courage to join. I figured that I'd be doing very little posting and I was very intimidated at first. But that didn't last.
Several compilations CDs sent to me by a few Gassers (thanks TM, MMR and others) containing some of the GHS songs finally convinced me to give the album another chance. Now I'm only sorry it took me so long!
Can you spare a few degrees and send them my way Keno? We didn't have a transition from summer to fall, we just got suddenly thrown from one right into the other. 80 degrees one day, 50 the next. Why can it never be the other way around, Ronnie?
