Actually I've been farming since I was a small kid, learned to do that from both of my parents... well... NY farming anyway. But when I moved to this town was the first time I actually worked on a true farm, yet the folks here called it the "community garden", but it was a damn farm, no question about it! I even helped to build the straw bale chicken coop and then was there to raised the chickens, and then when we had too many of them in the fall, I helped out to eat a few of them, but I didn't take part in their killing (there was a Bronco game on the tube that morning).... But even growing weed I did when I was a teen (in case you missed this from last month on my growing marijuana - http://www.keno.org/gasland/get.asp?M=297496&P=0&T=297496), just hadn't really done it again since then but once, until this year, but for the last several years I have been there for other locals/friends for their weed harvest, to help them trim the buds, so that's becoming old hat now for me, Ronnie!
