Absolutely sucked SV, I was exited as I made my way down town to get it. Of course having been given the ok by her indoors, I would probably have spent everything we had on an original rather than the intended print......'no, but seriously dear you don't understand it's an investment....it's our pension plan...now come on don't be silly, put that down'....deft well practised sideways movement of head as vase whizzes past left ear and shatters at impact against living room wall.
I hope you get that 'Ronnie' one day SV, and you too NB. In fact I think we should all be given a 'Ronnie', they bloody well owe us.
I used to do a lot of art stuff when I was young SV, but only two things I know of have survived, a Christmas card to my granny which I designed, and a painting of Dylan which is still hanging up at my mothers. Next time I visit the aged one at the old ancestral pile, I'll take a photo of it, and post it for you.
In the last couple of years I've gotten back into the art stuff, but it's been drawing mostly. Recently though I've been dabbling in watercolour, but the results so far have not been encouraging. When I get round to doing my album stuff, and it seems like an excellent project to see me through our long dreich winter, I will probably use poster paint like I did with my Dylan.
I need to go back to bed for a lie down, kind of fragile this morning.
