Well yeah, Skynyrd works for them.
Does any band work "for" their label? Unless you're being facetious and referring to the song "Workin' for MCA". It can be hard to tell here when people are joking and when they aren't.
The band sold their rights to the songs decades ago, so MCA can do whatever the hell they want. The surviving band members and the estates of their dead friends have no say in the matter. This prompted this comment from Gary Rossington: "It's always the same songs, just in a different order."
About Cardiff, the "official bootleg" (can you say "oxymoron"? I knew you could...) is missing "Simple Man", "Whiskey Rock-a-Roller" and "T for Texas". If your copy of the show has those three songs, then you have the complete thing. If not, you have the "official" version and you'll want to email me for the real thing.
