No, whls, Bonn died from hypothermia. The band left him to sleep on their tour bus, but turned the engine (and the heat) off.
I have never heard this story before, where did it come from? ACDC weren't on tour when he died and he was found in a car. Every story I have heard or read on this death is the same and includes interviews with the people who found his body and notes what he was doing the night of his death - drinking in a bar. The last time his band mates saw him alive was 2 days earlier, they worked on 2 new songs that would appear on the next album Black in Black, with Bonn playing the drums that night, and not singing, since he hadn't written any lyrics for the songs yet and their drummer wasn't there (Bonn was at first the band's drummer before he took over lead vocals).
But anyway, his death certificate is online and it clearly shows he died of drinking too much, and notes he died of "misadventure". Here is a copy of it: Bon Scott's death cert
