I didn't realise it was a R.I.P. thread because it didn't carry the custom and practice subject header for such threads, so I didn't understand why it was pulled.
Oh come on now! How could you not have known what that post was about!? Plus since when has it been a custom here to place "RIP" in such a post's title? I've seen many such posts that didn't have that in the title.
If a post is about a person who just died, as that one was, and it was clearly stated in the title that he died, having "RIP" in the subject field or not - shouldn't make any difference at all! It's still about somebody who just died, no? Plus the RIP for that post was in the message field instead, so again, how could you or anybody else not know what that post was about?
I don't know, it seems silly and ridiculous that it's gotten to where some want me to now place in the FAQ, a rule that states that we need to have a period of respect for somebody who just died and not make jokes in such a post, and that since it ins't in there, then even those who just died are fair game to be made fun of, or that their death notice posts are fair game to joke in and get a laugh out of.... I mean, it's just common knowledge and human dignity to know this and not do certain things in such a thread! Plus, when a true, well known low life pig dies, well there's exceptions to every rule; is it okay to celebrate the death of a true pig? Well, I wasn't around yet when Hitler killed himself, but I know most of the planet celebrated his death and there wasn't any mourning on that day, as well as when bin Landen took a bullet in the head, his death was pleasing to most sane people (at least in the US).
So do I have to really put in the FAQ that we need to show respect to those who just passed, and make sure that we all have "RIP" in the subject title, and only post nice and respectable things in such threads, while also noting in there that when one of the few true pigs in the world dies, that it's okay and we allow exceptions to celebrate and make fun of such evil persons? I mean, it's ridiculous to think I would have to place all or any of that in the FAQ, or that I even have to type this out here and explain it! But both you and NB made issues of that not being in the FAQ!
In all honestly, I know that the Bill comments here in this thread bugged me more than normal because it was clearly not just another repeat dig at Bill, but it was made directly because the last put down of him wasn't allowed to stand since it was in that death notice thread. Do you guys just want to come here to upset your fellow fans? It is just getting ridiculous on how childish this has become by the 2 of you. I really do feel like I'm in charge of kindergarten age children here (and I already know you stated that you don't like me stating that, but I do feel this way with the 2 of you). PA was a man and apologized for making the joke in said thread, so at least one Gasser showed class in the end and let it rest. I just wish I could say that for a few others here.
Now, can we PLEASE stop this crap now and move on? Show some class and let this thread die now.
