Interesting, but the very first version of As Tears Go By was called As Time Goes By, and is just Mick and Big Jim Sullivan, and has fairly different lyrics. It got changed when someone .....That has been around for a long time on various boots. THAT had to have been recorded sometime after Andrew taking over in mid-63, and before ALO handing Marianne the real song not too much later. so yeah, it almost has to be that the ATGB outtakes have to be from 64 sometime.
Good point SP! I got that early version on boot too, and had forgotten that it was first written and recorded as "As Time Goes By". So there would be no way it could have been made in March of '63. The insider I got this info from feels the last 4 songs had to be recorded in '64, but he hasn't heard any of it yet either.
