I was just wondering if you knew anything specific about Miles, and why he might be of the opinion that more than one person held Jones under the water the night he died?
OK, I guess this is where and when I have to confess that I've never heard of the guy...
His theory, though, is not really his. It has appeared in a couple of books, always with an anonymous person who was supposedly present as the source of the information / speculation / rumour -- call it what you want.
Problem is, you can't have it both ways. If the only people present on the property that night, apart from Brian himself, were Anna, Frank and Janet, then this theory flies out the window. But if Brian was really held under water by three people, then there was more going on there that night than has been acknowledged.
My instinct (which along with a dime won't even get you a phone call anymore) tells me that this theory is hogwash. In one of the books, the informant is called "Marty". In another book, he goes by a different alias. Is it the same guy? If not, just how many spectators were on hand?
None of this seems to make much sense. But that's JMHO.
