Summer may be officially over in Colorado, but here in Tundraland it's going to be over 100 F today with the humidity
Gosh, I feel for you!.... Actually, heat wise, summer only started here about 2 weeks ago! July was fall like here, then 2 days ago we hit 89 degree (F), the second hottest day of the year. Yuck, I can't stand heat like that, unless it's in a hot spring, which is different of course..... But when I said summer was over here, I was only speaking about for the kids in town who now have to go to school. Gosh, my house is so damn quite this morning with the boy gone and off to school. But the bad thing with his mother gone now, is that I got to set my clock to go off at 610am to make sure he got up at 6. That isn't easy when your average bedtime is after 4am each night. No, I rather not be a single parent again, did that once in the early '90s for my son and as an old man now I don't wish to do it again. But so goes life and I would do anything for my grandson, and at the least, he's old enough now to where he can take care of himself in the morning, other than, sleep through his alarm every so often.
