After reading Cockroach's response to the Led Zep post I had to ask this question. Don't know if it has been asked before, I don't remember it. Mine was Aerosmith in 2001, Just push play tour. Got tickets OK, then the female I had asked to go cancelled at the last minute, made up with her ex-BF. So a buddy and I went. I rented a new Mustang to cruse over in, about a 2 hr drive. I new the area, Gorge in George, WA because I had lived close to there when I was a kid. Got over there and got to our seats. Opening act was poor at best, don't even remember their name. Then when Aerosmith took over the crowd pushed all the seat together so you had to stand. My buddy was a 'Special Forces' military and he got into a fight right after that. We got separated and I ended up on the side of the stage trying to find security. Spent the WHOLE show there, TERRIBLE sound!! At the encore I went back up on the 'grass'. Great sound and great view, should have watched the whole show there. Finally found my buddy back at the car. He said "We need to go, NOW!" "I took care of that guy who caused the seat problem" So on the way home we stopped for food. Spent two hours trying to eat. The cook had walked out!! Got him back to the base about 10 mins before he had to report for the next day. WOW... What's yours????
