Well, I've been to many, many, MANY concerts in my life, but I've only fallen asleep at one. That concert? Led Zep at MSG in '77. The single most BORING band I've ever seen in a live setting.
Wow, I was at the same concert, and to me - they rocked that night! I also had seen them 2 years earlier at MSG, the show they used for the movie they made (TSRTS), and that one was even better, but I had better (floor) seats for the '77 show and that added to the greatness of the show! Come to think of it, they did play 2 nights in a row at the Garden in '77, so maybe I wasn't at the very same show you attended, but damn, for me, they weren't even close to being boring, although I do recall feeling that Pant's voice was off a bit at that show.
