I find it kind of hard to say who outshone who on guitar on a record, playing wise

I think that comparing a lead player to a rhythm player is comparing apples to oranges. I think that both Mick T and Keith are playing their parts superbly in CYHMK. To me, comparing their work in this song is a bit like asking who is better, Charlie on drums or Bill on bass?

JMHO, of course.
