Keith's opening riffs to CYHMK is as good as Rock And Roll gets! Greatest bit of Rock And Roll ever created.
Live versions of LIV in '72 are another story. MT is the man there. I still think MT brought out the best in Keith. THAT is why the MT era is my favorite. It's not because I think MT was the greatest Stone ever, it's because I think it was the best Stones band ever when he was with them during that period. Keith was at his best during the MT period imo. Recently, with some of the comments I've read, it appears some think MT fans think MT was the end all be all Stone. I can only speak for me. I've never thought that. The band as a whole was hitting on all cylinders during the MT period. Yet had already made a career worth of hits and great albums before that period began.
