I wasn't here, nor was I at any of the namesake events that taken place since (I think there's been three or four of them). In 1994 there was major festival with the same name. And supposedly they are planning "Woodstock 50" to happen in 2019 at the very same place.
I kinda wonder if they're just capitalizing on the name here, and trying to recapture the magic of an event that was really of its own time and place in our culture.
Still, if its good, live music by my favourite artists, that's what matters. So I'd tune in for sure.
Does anyone own that Woodstock live album? Is it worth getting?
