They seem to have maintained a solid fan base over the years. I enjoyed the first 70's iteration of the band before they became mega-popular. A change of style to a more pop-rock format got them solidly into the rock platinum club, although little bit of the singer's (Kevin, last name ???) shrill voice goes a long way, for me anyway. Their big hit "I'm Gonna Keep On Loving You" eventually prompted their original lead guitarist to quit the band, as he was not too keen on the change of formula that sold records but watered down the rocking aspect of their sound. Anyway, there's more than enough music selection out there, whether perceived as good, bad, or somewhere in-between.
