Yes, a mistake made by both of us, not just you, since I noted it was released as a single in stereo, and it wasn't, not at least in 1965, but years later. But it was recorded in stereo, and because it was, I feel they could have released this special single using both formats - stereo and mono. That would have been much cooler and more so worth getting.

My friend who first wrote me on this, had many talks with Allen Klein over the years about this and other records. Klein told him that he wanted 'Satisfaction' to be always released in mono "the way the fans first heard it", and that he was very adamant about it, which would explain why this new release is not being released in stereo, as his family is keeping his wish, even if at least some of us fans would rather not hear the mono version again. I myself flat out hate mono music, Ronnie!
