I was working the midnight to 8a.m. job. A friend of mine lived in the same apartments as I, and I was so tired I had him drive my car. I had fallen asleep, and just as we were driving down the road to get to our apartments, my friend woke me up and told me he had just heard the news on the radio. We were stunned...what was gonna happen to the Rolling Stones, the Bad Boys of Rock? I called several friends that I worked with, and we had an impromptu wake for Mr. Brian Jones. We played all their lps that day. A terrible day in rock history...
