RE: Stones back sides/Rock siblings/Beatle Paul

For me, it came down to flip-a-coin time between "More Hot Rocks" and "Between the Buttons" in the Stones poll. Ultimately the coin stayed in my pocket and I went for Charlie's drawings. I'm not sure what they mean, but I like 'em and that back cover shows another talent of Charlie's that people may not have suspected otherwise.

The MHR back cover is a perfect illustration of the tensions inside the band at the time that photo was taken. Although I'm sure that wasn't the idea for using it.

Duane and Gregg in the first rock poll. Without the both of them, there wouldn't even have been an Allman Brothers Band to begin with. His influence was felt long after his death. And the band never changed its name even though Duane's untimely death left only one Allman playing.

No vote yet in the second poll. I'll have to hear the Jackson Browne version first but that'll have to wait until after Mick & the boys finish their Leeds set.

"I've Just Seen a Face" in the Beatles poll. That one has always been one of my favourite Paul songs and I find that his guitar work truly stands out on this one.

Well are you enjoying your summer yet?

Summer? What summer? It's not even 60 degrees here at the moment! This has to be one of the wettest, coldest months of June on record. I'm moving to Hawaii, Ronnie!
