Chris Squire RIP (nsc)

Wow I just saw that Geof Downes said Chris Squire, the bass player from Yes died. Chris just said he had leukemia a month or two ago and that he would be retiring for health reasons. He must have been fighting it for awhile.

Yes was my first favorite band. I started listening to them when Roundabout was on the charts, and my main mode of transportation had two wheels and a banana seat. I saved up forever to get a copy of Yessongs, and believe me, I played that record constantly until I was out of high school. Squire was a really innovative bass player, and seeing him play live was a big treat for me, and still a great memory. I always thought he just looked cool and he was always one of my favorites.
