Don't forget there is a lot of unconfirmed session titles from 1969-70 as well, so who knows what is really in the vaults. One thing is for sure Jagger is not telling the truth when he says there are no unreleased songs.
Sure you are correct, anything from the early seventies Stones is cool, but my point again is they are already putting out a major live Blu-ray and LP/CD package from 1971 and the cuts used on the basic Sticky LP/CD double sets aren't even live versions of songs from Sticky. I mean at least then it could mean something to the album itself.
I just think my comp is more interesting, Cocksucker Blues alone would sell some copies. Call it CS Blues on the copies for Target if we must, but c'mon it's 2015 we can handle it. It's not a horrible comp, but next to what was done for Exile and Some Girls maybe it feels second rate. Like they didn't really try to do it all the way this time.
As far as Mick doing new vocals....I'm very mixed. In the case of Do You Think I Care or something like that I am against it. It was fine the way it was. In the case of an instrumental like I'm assuming Plundered My Soul was, you can't argue with the results. It's the best Mick has sounded since Tattoo You.
At least Keith left his vocals alone! I mean I laughed when I read someone thought Keith redid his We Had It All vocals because they were different than the bootleg. Keith couldn't sound that good by 1982 let alone the era of the Some Girls reissue!
