As far as Floyd, I am a Syd guy, and I like their early David work as well. I would love a 1965-68 box. Everything from Lucy Leave to Point Me To the Sky a "The Pink Floyd" set if you will. Maybe through in a few Syd solo outtakes as David appears to own one or two aongs circa 1970 that never came out. Now THAT I would really get enthused about.

Yes to this!!! My favourite Floyd album is "Wish You Were Here" but I feel that the Syd era is unfairly neglected (Hmmm... doesn't that remind you of the era of another band's founder?) I would love a box set like you suggest, although I'm certainly not going to hold my breath. I love "Lucy Leave"! And I also love "Arnold Layne".
