Gunner, everyone likes what they like and I'm cool with that. I'll agree that there is a metric shitload of stuff that could be released from those sessions. I'd have been happy to see Tallahassee Lassie left off of Some Girls and released as one of their From the Vaults releases with the rest of the RCA material. It's not like there wasn't room on the CD for more of the Pathe material. I'd have even been okay if they had tossed Munich Hilton on there, even as an instrumental. Not releasing Fiji Jim was a big mistake, and so was not putting When She Held Me Tight on there.
Then again, I understand how much work goes into even an outtake that just needs "cleaned up." So I understand why we didn't get all I wanted. But I like what we got. I mean, how often do we just get a pretty cover with a Stones reissue?
