Even though i gladly kept all my vinyl and i have a ton accumulated since 1970,my two turntables are unplugged

My turntable has been unplugged since 1992 when I started buying CD versions of all my favourite albums.

I hung on to all my vinyls regardless, but now I'm slowly starting to let go of some of them. I need to make room for some of my stuff and those vinyls will never be played again. At least not by me.

I will keep the ones that have special meaning to me, and that includes all my Stones vinyls, of course. My Beatles, Doors, Floyd and Skynyrd vinyls are also going nowhere. The rest will be on a case-by-case basis.

I know other people who have been doing the same thing. One person I know had at least 1,000 vinyls, maybe more. After "thinning out", he expects to have about 50 left!
