Stones poll: Down to only a 5! You gotta show the entire band who was in there during the years you got listed on the cover, if you're going to show them at all, and this LP's cover doesn't do that. Instead, it removes Bill from the photo! This is what I hate about the Stones, stupid moves like this against former band members. We just keep seeing this happen over and over again... will they ever stop doing this shit to their former mates? All those guys are still Stones in my mind and they always will be, like it or not MJ!
Rock poll: "Creeque Alley" by The Mamas & the Papas clearly tells the best, true story of all the songs listed, and there are some great songs telling some great stories that are listed.
VS poll: "Lookin' for a Love", by The J. Geils Band by a hair, as both songs are excellent! The J. Geils cover is on the upbeat side for a song that should be a downer to talk about, so I went with that one. Heck, the CS cover makes you feel bad for the person the song's about, but it's still a great song to listen to.
Fab poll: "Norwegian Wood" by a mile, even with several other great acoustic guitar parts played by John listed. I think George's sitar helps the acoustic guitar stand out in this song, but then again, John just nailed it in this song (as did George, too).
