...to get off of an Aftermath kick, now that i'm on one. That song* in particular is a tribute to BJ and eerily mirrors the kind of "background lead" that MT would later employ with the boys. I love the nimble flourishes of exquisite delicacy that are on that one, which are also on "I am waiting."
As an aside, after enjoying a lot of Duane Allman in the last day or so, I've gone back to the one we all have to thank for the loveliness that is the slide-guitar-in-rock-as-we-know-it-today: good ol' Brian Jones, a true treasure.
