Chitter Chatter gave a pretty spot on review of the show, including the guitar snafu on Sympathy and the following songs.At first I thought they were just changing Sympathy up, because I'm sure they're all tired of doing that song. But it became apparent later on that the mixing was really fucked up. I thought Ronnie more or less carried the load on guitar. Keith did get in a few nice snippets of solos, but nothing really extended by him.
The warmup group had a tight set, but I just didn't care for their music (sorry HR). I think they would have sounded better in a smaller venue, where all the words and music could be heard and appreciated.
All in all the show wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, but it was better than it needed to be. My son was also thrilled that he got to see the Stones. It was his first time also.
