My Review

Glad the roof was open because the sound greatly improves when it is. Roof was open the whole time.

JJF got it off to a great start. It's awesome when Keith walks out front to kick it off. LSTNT was horrible IMO. The background vocals sounded all messed up. Maybe it was the reverb from the stadium but it did not sound that great. At this point, the guitar mix is spot on in the show.

My son likes Doom and Gloom so after they played it, he looked at me and said 'why is it so fast?' I agree - way too fast live.

Even thought the flow and its lyrics are out of place, I liked Bitch because it was longer. I'll never gripe about a longer Bitch!

Keith gave a tribute to Bobby with them being in Texas. He asked for a round of applause for him.

I thought Rambler sounded terrific. I still miss MT but Ronnie did a very god job.

Mick said Miss You was for Jerry Jones. Just shows the power of Jerry. At one point in the show, Mick asked if they were at Verizon Stadium... or at T-Mobile Stadium - then he said Cowboys Stadium which got lots of applause.

I had heard earlier that Grace Potter was going to do Shelter with them but she didn't and she wasn't needed. Lisa had the crowd in her hand. A definite highlight of the night and my son's favorite song of the night.

Sympathy is where the sound went downhill. The guitars were waaaaaay too high in the mix. Keith was late on the solo and it carried into the chorus, which drowned Mick's vocals out. For the rest of the show, the guitars were too high.

The rest of the show was standard and my boy loved the fireworks at the end. Overall, I am so glad I went for my son's sake alone. He wanted a shirt so he has his first concert tee. A friend who went with us and had never seen them said he is amazed at the energy they possess - especially at their age. I hope everyone had a fantastic time. I wished the big screen at the stadium had been on but oh well.... you can't always get what you want (where's Charlie with my rim shot?)
