Manny I hear what you are saying and tend to agree. Rolling STone mag did a ranking years ago of the "Greatest Singles Ever" and Satisfaction was #1.

It's one of my favorite Stones songs ever, but it's not my number one either. But I can see where people rank it #1....It's got everything a great rock and roll song should have...great, clever lyrics (lyrics that were a bit controversial at the time), good beat, great guitar riff, etc. ANd it's iconic. WHen casual fans think of the Stones, this is the song.
