Despite some of his cunning commercial strategies, ALO was a total dick to Brian, based on what I read in Trynka's book. And I think he took some of the credit away from Brian for making the Stones so huge. Because it was Brian that made friends with so many, and provided the charm and the real connections that built and maintained the bridge between the band and so many others of importance in the music world at the time, which included musicians, the press, and business figures. It is too bad that Keith couldn't have been a better bridge between Brian and the rest of the band itself (i.e. Mick and ALO), because for a while he was pretty close to him.

Oh, well, in the end it was all Anita's fault, right? Just as it was Yoko's ha ha!
