Well, I just got an email from the currently not posting for now Gasser Cockroach, who pointed out to me that HOS was the first #1 hit for Immediate Records, and after I read that I remembered that and yeah, it was also the very first release for that soon to fail label, too. But why is this important and why would the Stones play it? Because the new label was owned by ALO, which could explain why they might play such a song, perhaps to help him out? Yet ALO doesn't remember them playing it before and neither does anybody else it seems.
That seems to make sense. And it's the only possible explanation we have at the moment. I guess we can forgive ALO for not remembering the band playing the song once, almost half a century ago. How many of us would have remembered one concert out of so many?
Im trying to think of the other version of the song from the 60s besides the mccoys version,who was it?I may have to google it?
