the question remains: WHY?

Unlikely that we'll ever get the answer to that question. But I'm guessing that it was a one-time thing. Just like "Hey Crawdaddy" (which, incidentally, was also played in Paris).

This got me wondering, since we have so few boots from the 60s we can't really tell, but maybe the band pulled a song out of a hat every now and then. And on that specific night, it was HOS. Would this seem to make sense?
