Wow, you don't think he's one of the best ever? I sure do, since he clearly is! I call myself a former pro basketball fan these days, I gave up on the NBA about 3 years ago because I'm sick of the NBA refs and the stupid rules they have in the NBA, that and how bad the owners and management of the Denver Nuggets became (the worst in pro sports). Yet if a game is on TV that James is playing in, I'll watch it, since he's that good! Yet I haven't seen a Nuggets game in about 3 years, or whenever it was when they fired the best damn coach in the league for no reason, and replaced him with the worst coach in the league, and in turn they went in one season from having their best record ever (with no superstars) to their worst record ever last year.
He might beat golden state in the finals this month,because hes very lucky that rick barry does not play for the warriors anymore lol?!
Rick Barry? Shit, I was a big fans of his when he played in the ABA with the NY Nets! But that was light years ago (you're showing your age)! I got to meet him one day thanks to my older sister who taught 2 of his boys in preschool (and both of his kids played in the NBA when they grew up, too, in fact, his youngest son who my sister didn't teach, since he wasn't born yet, did too). The most interesting thing about Rick was the way he used an underhand approach when shooting free throws, he was the only pro to do that ever (as far as I know), yet he lead the league almost every year while doing it. I'm surprised it didn't catch on, it might have looked weird, but it worked great! But as much as I dug Barry, he wasn't no James, but it would have been fun to see both of them play against each other, and also see many other great oldtimers play against James.
