I actually like a bunch of his music, but considering what kind of a human being he is, I would never spend a dime on anything he makes. I don't care if he is a Republican, but I do care if he is a dick, and calling him a dick is being nice.
Can you name any other republican rock stars?
There are more than you might realize out there. Io name a few off the top of my head, there is, besides crazy Ted, Kid Rock, Elvis Presley (was), Gene Simmons, Johnny Ramone (was), Meat Loaf (but not registered, supported Mitt Romney but couldn't vote for him), Sammy Hagar, Mike Love, one of the guys in Metallica (can't remember which one), one of the guys in the old, real Lynyrd Skynyrd (again, can't remember which one), and you can bet a few more. Alice Cooper has been called one, but he has flat out said that he is in the middle and ins't political at all, although he is friends with Sen John McCain.
One thing not mentioned in the video is his treatment of Derek St. Holmes.
Yes, true, and without Derek he would not even be popular. Many people don't know that when you hear almost all of Ted Nugent's songs, they were sang by Derek, not Ted, who only sings backups. Derek has been his lead singer for years, other than when he was in the Amboy Dukes (John Drake sang vocals), and for one solo album after Holmes temporary quit, Meat Loaf was the lead singer for him on that album.
