I can’t believe you and Glimmer in a thread down below just so casually dropped the bomb that blows away the tone of, and the whine, of so many posts here at Gasland and other Stones related websites. How dare you two come in here and imply that the Stones are not the totally money hungry bastards that don’t care about their “real” fans by offering up a cheap way into the shows. Without that belief to hang on to, how can I, or any other fan, post that the reason I would not go to a show is because VIP tickets are so expensive. Yeah, I’m talking those VIP tickets that go to those rich folks that don’t deserve to be able to pay first class prices for a first class seat while some “diehard” fan has to sit elsewhere. I bet that rich guy sitting in the VIP section doesn't even know the true genius of the album Dirty Work. How dare they allow such behavior? Isn’t it supposed to be about the music? (Shussssh, don’t even think of mentioning the club shows every tour that have 20 dollar tickets or that they gave the ticket holders their money back at the last club show. You two are threading on thin ice already.)
I, for one, am thunderstruck to find out that there are ways not to spend a fortune on Stones tickets. I was happy being a Stones fan that could b*tch and moan about ticket prices and set lists while ignoring the facts. I will have to spend the next few days and nights re-examining my existence and purpose.
