Stones Poll: I give it an 8, as I very much like this photo of them, it shows 100% who they are!
Rock Poll: I was torn between "Fire and Rain", the great James Taylor song that has a ton of feelings to it, and "Fortunate Son", and ended up going with FS, one of the best anti-authority songs written by somebody who was directly affected by the bs of those in charge. John Fogerty wrote this after he was drafted and served, and then saw others who had political connections, get off from being drafted. The main target of his song was David Eisenhower, who got out of the draft thanks to his grandfather being Dwight Eisenhower. Guess Dwight felt he served long enough in the army for both of them, or more than likely he just felt that his grandson was above all the others who were of draft age. Of course, it was all of the rich kids who got out of the draft and more of what the song was really about, a dislike for the rich in general, who get away with everything while the poor or middle class people pay the true price for things, like freedom.
VS Poll: Haven't voted yet in this one, as I love both songs, but I'm leaning towards the Who for now.
Fab Poll: I got to go with Ringo. Nobody expected anything out of him after the Beatles broke up, and some felt he just might be totally forgotten in time. But not only did he make it in the movies as an actor, his solo albums and singles did fantastic! I believe he has had the most hit singles of the 4 former Beatles. Yeah, Paul has had just as good a solo career, but we expected that from him, and since we didn't expect that from Ringo, I'll go with him.
