The first Verve ep and their debut album 'A Storm in Heaven' are wonders to behold. Wonders. Their 2nd album was really good too. The Cranberries 1st 2-3 albums were pretty great. New Radicals, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Rush's 90s ouput was good...The 1st 2-3 albums from Catherine Wheel were stellar, in fact I'd bet lots of folks here would/should like the Catherine Wheel quite a bit. There's Pavement as well: I should think 'Crooked Rain Crooked Rain' would really be loved by at least a handful of gassers. And to round it off, Radiohead's 90s albums are still the best they made, but it is Modest Mouse that I have been gravitating back to recently; in fact, I'm going to call The Lonesome Crowded West an actual masterpiece for its genre and sprawl.
