Stones Poll: I'm totally torn between "Satisfaction" and GOOMC, it just depends on a flip of the coin, and that flip came out for "Satisfaction", so now I want to go with GOOMC, because they play it so good! Yet the one time where Keith always seems to shine when playing live is on "Satisfaction", but again, I want to hear both, but voted for "Satisfaction", thanks to that coin flip.
Rock Poll: Here I go again, I can't decide between "Hey Jude" and SFTD, as the backing repeating lyrics are so great on both songs, and make the songs stand out! As of now, just under 50% of the votes - and there's a lot of early votes today, are going for only these 2 songs! So I decided not to vote for either one (I can decide that in Part 5!), and to go now with the not too well known (and very unusual song for a band like Alice Cooper) "Sun Arise" as my pick. It really is one of the best songs to play this time of the year, with people wanting more of the sun shining and it's warmth after a long hard winter (winter returned to Colorado this week with a good amount of snow in the last few days, heck, we got snow pellets falling right now)!
VS Poll: Beatles LP by a mile! Yet the vote is very close indeed, so far,and I'm not surprised at all. But with all the votes already in so early, if this keeps up, we will set a record for the VS poll this week for votes cast, since it always lags behind the other polls in votes. Yet I got a feeling after today, the one day of the week when most Stones and Beatles fans usually vote, that the vote count will slow down big time for this question, since it isn't a great one unless you love both bands. My guess is many will skip the question by mid week, and I almost didn't ask it because I knew this. Yet I never expected to see so many votes on Monday morning for this poll, either, I even checked the poll stats to make sure all was fine, and all it!
