I can't sleep tonight, I'm thinking about my surgery later today, which happens in less than 7 hours, so I guess I can make up for the loss of sleep when they put me under, plus this is around my bedtime anyway, it's not like I'm up late, not for me anyway...
Whenever you have to go thru something like surgery, you think about what can go wrong and what if I don't wake up after it's over? I think it's a normal thing to think about when it's about to happen to you, no? Death and dying is something most don't like to talk about, yet here, we seem to talk about it every so often, which is fine with me, as it is the final part of life that all of us will experience sooner or later, like it or not. We were talking awhile back about how so many rock stars now are dying of old age and how so many of them that never got there in the first place. Anyway, I just checked my email and one of my Stones insiders sent me this on Woodstock and those who played there who aren't alive any longer. See, we aren't the only ones who talk about this stuff! So here is the list, if you rather not read this, then just skip over it, but again, some will find this interesting. Oh, and I'll add, we have talked here in the past about how few bands from the '60s, still have all of their members alive today. This list from Woodstock alone might change your mind on that, as you will see that a lot of those bands still have all of their members alive today.
