RE: RE: A few replies

First, thanks for your kind words both DA and C&W, and from the 2 of you who wrote me emails this morning. Jackie was ready to take me to the hospital this morning because I've not been feeling too good, had a bad early morning around dawn today, but I'm feeling somewhat better now and Wednesday is only 2 days off. So I'll just wait, I'll be okay.

I'd like to see them do I Can Feel the Fire, since it's practically a Stones song anyway

Damn, I forgot about that song, a great solo number by Ronnie, with a bit of reggae to it, and the lead vocals really sung more so by Mick Jagger, than Ronnie, who really only sings the backing harmony vocals; with Keith playing guitar with Ronnie, and the song was actually written by not Wood alone, but Jagger, and George Harrison, too. Come to think of it, I believe David Bowie also sings backup on this number, too.

But as great a song it is, and yes, it's close to being a Stones number, I think more fans would know "Ooh La La" better and would prefer to hear Ron sing that live instead. But damn, I got a even better idea, since Mick really sings the lead on "I Can Feel the Fire", why not just have them do it live that way - have Mick sing the song, and then Ron could still sing lead on "Ooh La La"?

And since Keno mentioned the ongoing poll about least deserving R&RHOF act, I remembered that I hadn't voted in a very long time, so it was my pleasure to add another vote to Madonna's count.

LOL, I know how much you dislike her! Funny, well really, not that funny, but I had taken an unexpected cat nap after watching the news on TV the other night and when I opened up my eyes, the Tonight show was on (haven't watched it since Leno left, Jimmy Fallon just doesn't do it for me as a host), and there was Madonna on the show, but she wasn't singing, but doing stand-up comedy, and doing really bad jokes about dating her son's friends, etc. She had a terrible delivery to go with her jokes and DA, she was so bad, that I think even you would have preferred to hear her sing instead! But I can't believe she wants to do comedy now and even go on a tour for it!
