I voted for one song each in the Stones poll, but my real answer would be "I don't really care, since I won't be there." Still, I think it's about time Ronnie got a chance to sing lead on a song, and Keith's voice is shot.
In the first rock poll, it was flip-a-coin time between Deep Purple and the Moody Blues, and my imaginary quarter landed on the Moody Blues side. It's an outrage that neither of these fine bands are in there, while there are more than just a few mediocre acts that got in effortlessly.
And since Keno mentioned the ongoing poll about least deserving R&RHOF act, I remembered that I hadn't voted in a very long time, so it was my pleasure to add another vote to Madonna's count. Gosh I just cannot stand that woman! Everything about her stage act and "music" makes me cringe. I must be having an allergic reaction Ronnie!
"Dark Side of the Moon" in the second rock poll. Such a trippy album! As a teenager, I spent countless hours listening to it while high. I love both albums, but since we're talking about "concept" albums, I find DSOTM the more cohesive of the two, and I think that this is important in a concept album.
John Lennon in the Beatles poll. No question about it.
