I adore Goats Head Soup. Love every track, even freaky tracks like Can You Hear The Music.
Winter is an all time favourite. The whole album is lush, atmospheric, and creepy in a beautiful way.
It is the sort of album that, for me, illustrates how it is problematic to "rank order" a great bands albums. Why? Because Goat's Head Soup is its own animal. (albeit a beheaded animal) Its not at all like Exile, IORR, or SF. I like ranking songs and albums sometimes, but other rimes, such as when I get into GHS, I feel it belittles the art of it all.
