but with no new outtakes, as I suspected, this release is not as nearly exciting as the last two, or what I could see a Tattoo You deluxe to be. Oh well
I didn't read TMan's post closely and didn't have time before to read what is up on the official site about the new SF, but when I just got back home, I came directly to my computer and went to their site with great excitement to read up on what is inside the new re-release. What the fuck? No new outtakes?!? I already heard that stupid outtake with Clapton and prefer the original over it! Plus who needs all of that live stuff that I already have? Yes, like you and I think most fans, I was expecting something like what we had for SG and EOMS, but instead we're getting more live cuts? If there is one thing they have already released too much of, it's live stuff. If they never again releases any more live cuts, that would be fine with me. But it takes work to do what was done on EOMS and SG, whereas releasing live stuff takes nothing, guess Jagger and his mates are getting too old to work in the studio anymore. I mean, no new studio album in 10 years. A shame they aren't a real true current band anymore, and they aren't. What a major disappointment today has turned into as far as the Stones go! Damn, I'm at the the point of being totally fed up with Jagger and company, this new SF deal flat out sucks. I'm not gonna buy it any longer, I see no reason to, I'll spend my money on other more worthwhile stuff.
I will always love the Stones music, they will always be my favorite band, other than this current, stupid greatest hits band that they have become. They are only in it for the money today, which they don't even need. Sad, sad, sad!
