I think the poeple sit down through some of the show because they are old now!
From what I can recall, fans were noting this on line back 20 years ago when they were a lot younger! Heck, unless you got something like MS, or are over 85, you should be able to stand up for 18 to 20 songs, no? I just had the worst year of my life health wise, with 3 major operations in 9 months time, but if the Stones were playing this weekend nearby (and I had the cash), I would not be sitting for the show. People are just getting lazy more so than old I think. How many folks go out hiking/walking 6 days a week for about an hour a day? Or even 4 or 5 days a week? Where I live, many do this, and I understand all over Colorado many do this, and why we are noted in test results for being in the best in shape for the entire US, year after year. So if everybody else got out and walked each day for an hour, or even just 20 minutes, they would be standing and dancing for every song at the shows they attended!
