The theory by the medical community that these Near Death Experiences or out of body experiences can be explained away by simply calling the experience a "hallucination" does not hold water. Not for me anyway. There is no solid proof it is a hallucination. It is simply a theory. Just the "Official" belief, (and it is nothing more than a belief) by the Medical and Science community that an out of body experience is impossible. Therefore the experience people describe having MUST be a hallucination.

Yet these so called hallucinations are deadly accurate on who was in the room working on the patient at the time the patients eyes were closed and the body was clinically dead.

Hospital staff workers have been amazed when recovering patients have thanked them for helping to save their lives. The patients recognized the "code red" hospital workers in the halls of the hospital later. Yet the only time the staff workers were anywhere near the patient was when the patient had flatlined and their eyes were closed the entire time. It was the Only Time the patient could have "seen" them in order to recognize them later. These patients claim they saw the emergency hospital staffers in their room from a point of view well above their own body - looking down at their own body and the medical staffers who had rushed into the room for the code red, working hard to revive the body.

Those hospital workers had never been in the patients room before and were gone long before the patient woke up later. Yet somehow the patient remembers seeing these specific people working on their body to bring them back alive! The patients wanted to thank them for helping to save their life when they saw them in another part of the hospital. And the hospital workers have been amazed, for the patient could not have recognized them in the patient's room with their own eyes. The patient was clinically dead when they entered the room and still unconscious when they left the room.

So how did these patients recognize these people later if all they experienced was a hallucination? Hallucinations are about seeing things which are not real. These people saw the very real people who were in their hospital room working to revive their body from a clinically dead state. It's worth noting the people who claim they have NDEs are sure they were not dreaming. They say they have never felt more alive, alert and focused in their entire lives! They claim we think "better' outside of the body.

I think it is all great food for thought.

I've really enjoyed these exchanges of ideas with you Keno, manny, and SV. It has been enlightening, interesting and even fun. I'll bow out of the discussion at this point though. I feel like I should say "Thanks". So I will - Thanks for this discussion. It has been great reading your replies.
